Axis Securities' seven multicap stock ideas for 2020

As the year 2019 is set to end in two weeks, Axis Bank has identified seven stock ideas to invest in 2020. Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE’s Nifty 50 advanced 13.5 percent and 11 percent, respectively, this year. The gains were mainly attributed to a cut in the corporate tax rates. Easing monetary policy and rising FII inflows also boosted shares in the second half of 2019. “We expect the upcoming year to be a good year for equity investments, especially midcaps, following the aggressive roadmap of reforms undertaken by the government, treading fiscal prudence path,” said Axis Securities in a note.
