Exit polls: Here are the top Nifty gainers that surged more than 10%

Indian benchmark indices opened higher on Monday, a day after exit polls showed BJP-led National Democratic Alliance would retain power with a bigger majority in the parliament, with financials leading the charge. According to a comprehensive News18-Ipsos exit poll on Sunday, Narendra Modi will score an emphatic win for his BJP-led NDA with 336 seats, securing a second five-year term. NSE Nifty50 gains up to 286 points in opening trade, which is the biggest opening gain since May 16, 2014, the day which 2014 Lok Sabha results announced. At 11:58 am, the Sensex was up 1,031 points, or 2.72 percent, at 38,952.37 points, while the Nifty 50 advanced 301.25 points, or 2.64 percent, to 11,708.40 points.
