Festivities to despair: An eventful week in Asia

From festivities to despair, last week was eventful in Asia. New Delhi and surrounding areas were engulfed in a thick blanket of smog in the morning after Diwali celebrations. Families remembered their relatives who died at sea as a Lion Air flight JT610 crashed in Indonesia, killing all 189 people on board. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the Olympic games in Japan in 2020.
