Trade truths: Men are great risk takers but women produce better returns, says research

Single men trade 67 percent more than single women thereby reducing their returns by 1.44 percentage points per year compared to single women, according to a study.
A study in 2001 had the same conclusion. Researchers found that women outperformed men by close to 1 percent per year, largely due to men’s propensity toward frequent trading.
