Q: 38-year-old Vini Deepak writes us from Bengaluru. I am looking to invest Rs 5 lakh for long term. Wanted recommendation for mutual funds in which I can invest.
A: For the long term, wealth creation for your profile could be through multicap funds. I would suggest that do not take high risk. Create a portfolio of 3 multicap funds and let the money stay there for at least 10 years. I would suggest a lower volatility funds like Parag Parikh Long Term, ICICI Multicap and Kotak Contra Fund for your profile. If you want to go moderate, then even balanced Funds will help.
