Q: 31-year-old Dhamodharan Chellaiah writes us from Singapore. I have been investing in mutual funds through both SIP and lump sum from 2015. My objective is wealth creation/retirement and time horizon is 15 years.
I am currently investing Rs 50,000 through SIP in the these schemes: Reliance Small Cap Fund (Rs 2,000), SBI Small Cap Fund (Rs 2,000), L&T Mid Cap Fund (Rs 6,000), Tata P/E Fund (Rs 6,000), Canara Robeco Emerging Equities (Rs 10,000), Axis Focused 25 (Rs 12,000) and Principal Multi Cap (Rs 12,000). Please let me know if the schemes I am investing are alright and suggest changes if any.
A: You can drop the SBI Small Cap (good fund, but high risk), Tata P/E Fund (change in fund management) Principal Multicap (can be shifted to a better focused fund).
