Get all your mutual fund related queries answered by our expert, Manoj Nagpal, managing director and chief executive officer, Outlook Asia Capital, on our show Mutual Fund Corner.
Q: 62-year-old Saraswathi TN writes us from Bengaluru. If I invest Rs 50,000 per month, how much I will get in return?
A: Return expectations will be based on the risk profile. Since you are retired, I would assume a conservative risk profile. Dynamic asset allocation funds like ICICI Balanced Advantage Fund or still lower risk equity savings fund could be an ideal choice. Return expectations accordingly should be lower in band of 7-10 percent.
