Q: 31-year-old Dhamodharan Chellaiah writes to us from Singapore. I have been investing in mutual funds through both SIP and lump sum from 2015. My objective is wealth creation and retirement, and my time horizon is 15 years. I am currently investing Rs 50,000 through SIP in these schemes: Rs 2,000 in Reliance Small Cap Fund, Rs 2,000 in SBI Small Cap Fund, Rs 6,000 in L&T Mid Cap Fund, Rs 6,000 in Tata P/E Fund, Rs 10,000 in Canara Robeco Emerging Equities, Rs 12,000 in Axis Focused 25 and Rs 12,000 in Principal Multi cap. Please let me know if the schemes I am investing are alright and suggest changes if any.
A: You can continue to invest in Reliance Small-cap Fund, SBI Small-cap Fund, L&T Mid-cap Fund, Canara Robeco Emerging Equities Fund and Axis Focused 25. We would suggest you to redeem from Tata P/E Fund and Principal Multi-cap Fund and invest in Mirae Asset India Equity and Reliance Large-cap Fund.
