    The equity outflows rose to Rs 12,822 crore in February while liquid fund witnessed an inflow against an outflow last month, data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) showed on Tuesday.

    The equity outflows rose to Rs 12,822 crore in February while liquid fund witnessed an inflow against an outflow last month, data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) showed on Tuesday.
    According to Aashish Somaiyaa, CEO of White Oak Capital Management, everybody in the multi-cap category, more or less, has moved into flexicap category.
    “Therefore, what outflow is seen in flexicap is what the outflow would have been for the erstwhile multicap,” he said.
    Meanwhile, Nithin Kamath, Founder & CEO of Zerodha said, “I am guessing these outflows are certain category of customers, maybe high net worth or something because we have the largest retail customers and we are seeing a net flow.”
