Market recovered on Wednesday riding on the back of a resurgent Indian rupee. The BSE Sensex jumped nearly 305 points to close at 37,717, rising 0.81 percent, while the NSE Nifty 50 settled at 11,370, climbing 82.40 points or by 0.73 percent.

KIOCL: Shares rose over 10 percent to hit its one month high of Rs 194.40 after the company said its board will consider buyback of shares on Tuesday. Stock quoted at Rs 187.50, higher by 6.50 percent at end.
Granules India: Shares slumped nearly six percent to close at Rs 107.60. The stock opened at the day's high of Rs 114.20 and touched a low of Rs 106.
Bank of Baroda: The PSU lender's shares touched an intraday low of Rs 132.65 in trade today, being the top laggard on the Bank Nifty. The stock ended at Rs 133.40, lower by 5.05 percent.
Eicher Motors: Shares settled at Rs 28,722, up by 2.32 percent at close. The scrip quoted at Rs 28,272.3 at open and touched a high of Rs 29,196.95 and a low of Rs 28,045. The stock traded higher than its 100 day and 200 day moving average.
Sun Pharma: The pharma shares ended at Rs 649.50, rising over three percent in trade. After opening at Rs 625, the stock ranged between a high of 654.4 and a low of Rs 620.1.
Power Grid Corp: Shares rose 3.53 percent to end at Rs 193.50. The stock opened at the day's low of Rs 187.1 and hit a high of Rs 193.8.
Adani Ports and SEZ: The Adani Group stock surged three percent to Rs 375.60. It opened at Rs 366.7 and hit a high of Rs 377.45.
Kotak Mahindra Bank: The private sector lender's shares snapped a three-session losing streak to close at Rs 1232, rising by 2.12 percent, near intraday high of Rs 1,233.75.
Titan: Shares of Titan Co extended their losses and fell nearly four percent to their six-month low of Rs 790.15. It quoted at Rs 824.90, up by 0.51 percent at close.
Oil stocks: IOC shares ended 1.03 percent lower at Rs 149.15, while HPCL shares dipped 1.52 percent to close at Rs 240. BCPL hit Rs 335.35 at end to close down by 0.80 percent.
