Top stocks to watch out for on July 9: TCS, Mindtree, Titan, Hero MotoCorp

Indian shares are likely to open little changed on Tuesday amid continued selling pressure over Budget proposals and mixed trades in global markets. Asian shares traded marginally higher following losses in the US stocks over fading hopes of a huge rate cut by the US Federal Reserve. Indian benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE’s Nifty 50 plunged 2 percent on Monday, their biggest one-day fall this year, dragged mainly by shares of banking and financial services companies. At 7.00 AM, the SGX Nifty futures traded 5.50 points, or 0.05 percent, higher at 11,574, pointing to a muted start for the Sensex and the Nifty 50. Here are the top stocks to watch out for today:

TCS: IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will kick off the IT earnings season with its Q1 results to be declared on July 9. TCS is likely to report the highest growth among its tier 1 peers with a constant currency growth of 3 percent (Infosys is seen at 2.8 percent) aided by robust deal wins. NIIT: NIIT Technologies Monday said Hulst BV's open offer to acquire an additional 26 percent stake in the company will commence from July 15. In April, funds affiliated with Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA) had bought about 30 percent stake in the mid-sized IT services firm NIIT Technologies from NIIT Ltd and other promoter entities for about Rs 2,627 crore.
