Indian shares are likely to open lower amid continued selling by foreign investors and losses in global markets. Asian shares hit a two-month low after a trade war between the US and China has escalated last week. Foreign investors have withdrawn a net amount of Rs 2,881 crore from the Indian capital markets in the first two sessions of August.
