DHFL: Deloitte has quit as the auditor of cash-strapped Dewan Housing Finance Ltd, reported PTI, citing sources. Communication regarding Deloitte quitting as DHFL's auditor has been sent to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
The Reserve Bank has slapped penalties on nine commercial banks, including State bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda, for a host of violations, including a delay on the reporting of fraud in the account of Kingfisher Airlines in case of two lenders. LIC Housing Finance: Q1 consolidated net profit rose 7.39 percent to Rs 609.13 crore for the first quarter ended on June 30.
Bata: Q1 profit rose 22.52 percent to Rs 100.97 crore for the June 2019 quarter. Revenue from operations during the quarter stood at Rs 882.75 crore, up 10.62 percent from last year.
