Top stocks to watch out for on April 8: Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Indiabulls Housing, Mindtree, Jet Airways

Indian benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE’s Nifty 50 are likely to open little changed on Monday as traders await quarterly earnings announcements beginning this week. Investors also remained cautious ahead of Lok Sabha elections starting this week. Asian shares inched higher as investors look forward to China’s monetary policy. Here are the top stocks to watch out for in today's trade:

Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Saturday said it will examine the merger proposal of Lakshmi Vilas Bank and Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd. NIIT: Private equity firm Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA) has signed an agreement with NIIT Technologies Limited to buy approximately 30 percent shareholding on a fully diluted basis in NIIT Technologies from NIIT Limited and other promoter entities at a price of Rs 1,394 per share, the IT firm said.
