    Here are the 10 top stocks that trended in the market on September 17.

    Indian equities ended lower on Monday as US-China trade war concerns weighed on trade sentiment coupled with the Indian rupee's volatility against the dollar.
    The BSE Sensex ended below the 37,600 mark, closing at 37,585.51, diving 505.13 points or 1.33 percent, while the NSE Nifty 50 settled at 11,377.75, shedding 137.45 points or 1.19 percent.
    All major sectoral indices barring the Nifty IT and Realty ended in the red, while HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries Ltd, consumer, bank and financial stocks dragged indexes lower.
    Here are the top stocks that trended in the market today:
    Monsanto India: Shares jumped over 17 percent today touching 52-week high of Rs 3,371, after opening at Rs 2,800.80. At close, it quoted at Rs 3,100, higher by 9.32 percent, adding Rs 264.20 in value.
    Titan: Shares fell nearly three percent today after reports that the government may ban import of non-essential items such as gold to contain the country's current account deficit. Shares settled at Rs 819, down by 2.80 percent. The stock opened at Rs 834.8 and touched a low of Rs 816.7.
    BF Investment: Shares soared nearly 13 percent to close at Rs 360. The stock opened at Rs 314.60 and has ranged between a high of Rs 368.80 and a low of Rs 314.30.
    Glenmark Pharmaceuticals: The pharma shares traded at Rs 680.30, down by 1.73 percent at end. The scrip opened at Rs 692.20 and touched a high and a low of Rs 705 and Rs 673.80 respectively.
    HDFC: The financial lender's shares dipped 2.49 percent to close at Rs 1,877.45, losing Rs 48 in value. It opened at the day's high of Rs 1,910 and hit a low of Rs 1,871 intraday.
    Oracle Financial Services Software: Shares surged to 52-week high of Rs 4,658.40 after opening at Rs 4,249.95. It closed at Rs 4,473.30, higher by 5.18 percent.
    IL&FS Engineering: At close, shares quoted at Rs 14.80, spiking by 12.55 percent. Intraday, it surged over 17 percent to a high of Rs 15.75. The scrip opened at Rs 13.15 and touched a high of Rs 15.60.
    Wipro: Shares touched 52-week high of Rs 336, rising nearly two percent. The scrip quoted at Rs 330, down by 0.06 percent at close.
    Manappuram Finance: The shares of non-banking financial company (NBFC) dipped 3.92 percent at close to settle at Rs 84.65. Intraday, it hit 52-week low of Rs 83.20, after opening at the day's high of Rs 87.50.
    Venky's (India): Shares of the packaged food company soared 10 percent to trade at the day's high of Rs 2,804.15, adding Rs 254.90 in value at close. It opened at Rs 2,550 and touched an intraday low of Rs 2,520.
