Opening Bell: Markets opens flat on account of mixed global cues; metals drag

The market opens flat due to mixed global cues with the BSE Sensex at 34,491 points and the NSE Nifty at 10,578 points.
The metal stocks are among the top losers after the global aluminium prices plunge as the US delayed the Rusal sanctions.
Along with the metals, IT stocks are showing a slip, despite the weak currency opening.
