Updated : April 23, 2018 09:34 AM IST
The market opened flat with the BSE Sensex opening at 34,412 points and the NSE Nifty at 10,568 points.
The gain, however, remained brief, as the market is already off opening highs largely because of weak global cues.
HDFC Bank and Reliance are pulling up the indices while ICICI Bank and Infosys drag.
