In the special segment ‘Off The Charts’, CNBC-TV18’s Anuj Singhal tracks a stock that has generated five thousand times returns in the last decade.
We have looked at some big 100 to 500 baggers in Off The Charts but can it be bettered? Well after digging into some numbers we arrived at a 5000 bagger that is PI Industries.
The company was started in 1946 by PP Singhal to manufacture edible oil with original name of Mewar Oil and General Mills. The name was changed to Pesticides India in 1960s and further to PI Industries later. The Singhal family has never focused on stock market returns, one quality which comes across in various concalls.
