Eicher Motors, world's oldest motorcycle brand is one of the top gainers at 3.6 percent.
Bank of Baroda extends gains at 2.5 percent.
Nifty 50 gained 0.5 percent, trading at 10,138.25 at the end of market close.
Sensex also gained by the closing bell. It was up 122 points, trading at 33,045.3 points.
Nifty Bank still in the red zone.
Nifty Pharma has gained one percent by closing bell.
Just In: Interglobe Aviation's shares rose 2 percent, after losing its share value in the past few days.
Aircraft engine manufacturer, Pratt & Whitney said that it will provide 40 substitute engines starting Wednesday for the A320neo aircrafts belonging to Indigo, which have been grounded since last week.
Just in: Uday Kotak, the chief executive officer of Kotak Mahindra Bank said that private bank's market share will rise to 50 percent in comparison to the the 30 percent shares now in the next 5-years.
He also added that the flow of capital in the markets as well as mutual funds are increasing.
Kotak Mahindra Bank which was one of the losers in the market, has started to gain and is up 0.3 percent, post the comments made by the CEO of the company.
He also added that a unique mix of digital banking and Aadhar has made India different from the rest of the world.

Market update -
Market pulls back from recent lows but is off the day's high. Sensex and Nifty up to 3-10ths of a percent each. Nifty is now down by 100 points, reaching 10,100 levels again. The Midcap index trades in-line with the frontline indices. Along with the banks, CANFIN homes is also at its day's low.
