FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) on Monday (December 1) announced a key change to its Management Committee with the appointment of Vandana Suri as executive director, home care. She succeeds Srinandan Sundaram, who will take over as CEO of Unilever International. Both appointments will be effective January 1, 2026.
Suri is currently the general manager, beauty & wellbeing for Unilever Indonesia. She has previously worked with PepsiCo, Tetra Pak and Nielsen before joining HUL in 2011. Her career spans over 20 years, during which she has built brands and led categories across Unilever businesses in India, South Asia and Indonesia.
At HUL, Suri led the premium laundry portfolio and delivered strong growth during her tenure. As vice president, skin care & colour cosmetics, beauty & wellbeing, she charted a premiumisation pathway for the skin care segment with a focus on high-growth spaces and formats. In her recent role in Indonesia, she drove an ambitious transformation agenda and led the growth of the beauty & wellbeing business.

Shares of Hindustan Unilever Ltd ended at ₹2,463.80, down by ₹3.20, or 0.13%, on the BSE today, December 1.
