DHFL shares dive 18% after it stops taking fresh deposits, puts renewals on-hold

Shares of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation slipped nearly 18 percent intra-day after the company stopped taking fresh deposits while placing renewals on-hold.
At 09:20 AM, the share price was trading 14 percent lower to Rs 111.30 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company has also stopped premature withdrawal of deposits to help themselves in liability management.
