Indian shares are likely to open lower on Monday, tracking muted Asia, as weekend drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil production facilities are likely to weigh on investor sentiment. Crude prices spiked in the morning of Asian trading hours after drone strikes. International benchmark Brent crude futures skyrocketed 12.75 percent to $67.90 per barrel. At 7:20 AM, the SGX Nifty Futures traded lower by 0.84 percent, or 94 points, at 11,017, indicating a weak start for the Sensex and the Nifty.
