Indian shares are expected to open steady on Thursday after the benchmarks Sensex and Nifty registered record closing highs in the previous session. The SGX Nifty, an indicator of the opening for the Nifty, was trading 22 points or 0.18 percent lower at 12,103 at 7:00 am, hinting at a mildly negative start for the domestic market. Among the stocks in the news today, TVS Motor Company launched BS-VI TVS Jupiter while RBL Bank board will consider the issue of equity shares on a preferential basis on Nov 30.
