Indian equity market ended with gains this week with benchmark indexes, the BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty50, rising nearly a percent each. On Friday, the Nifty advanced 66 points to close at 10,682, while the Sensex gained 197 points to settle at 35,457. Financials, energy, telecom and consumer stocks supported indexes, while metal, pharma, media and auto dragged.

These are the stocks that made the biggest buzz this week:
Top Nifty gainers this week
Bharti Airtel: The telco's shares ended at Rs 332.10, suring more than 9 percent in today's trade, lifting the stock 10.8 percent this week.
Eicher Motors: The auto major's shares gained 10.2 percent this week as the company launched two new models of its iconic Royal Enfield brand of motorcyles. The scrip quoted at Rs 24,796.10, rising 3.55 percent at close today.
Titan: Shares rallied 8.7 percent this week, but ended marginally lower by 0.20 percent at Rs 919 likely on profit-booking.
BPCL: Downstream company's stock gained 7.5 percent this week on lower crude oil prices, but fell nearly a percent in trade today at Rs 319.50.
UPL: The stock surged 4.3 percent this week and also ended a percent higher at Rs 771.45.
Top Nifty losers this week
Yes Bank: From 9 percent gains posted last week, the shares of Yes Bank slumped 16.1 percent this week owing to high-profile exits and uncertainty over its future. Shares ended at Rs 192.50, down by 6.5 percent.
Sun Pharma: The pharma stock slipped 13.1 percent in trade this week, but ended nearly a percent higher at Rs 520.05 today.
Indiabulls Housing Finance: The mortgage lender declined by 11.1 percent on a weekly basis on fresh concerns over liquidty in the sector. The stock quoted at Rs 765 today, dipping 5 percent.
Tata Motors: While the Tata Group's automobile company's shares ended flat in today's trade at Rs 180.25, the stock declined nearly 8 percent.
GAL: The public sector gas company's stock fell 6.8 percent this week and ended at Rs 342.70, down by 1.4 percent.
