Chinese shares led the growth with the blue-chip CSI300 index rising 2.2 percent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 1.2 percent while South Korea's KOSPI rose 0.7 percent. Japan's Nikkei also joined the party, gaining 1.4 percent to the highest since early December. All that positive news boosted Wall Street on Friday with the Dow jumping 1 percent, the S&P500 climbing 0.7 percent and the Nasdaq adding 0.5 percent.
