Asia stocks sag on trade war fears, dollar buoyant
Stocks remained under pressure from fears of an escalation in the US-China trade war.
MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan fell 0.25 percent.
Commodity-linked currencies such as the Australian dollar suffered deep losses.
