Market Live: Sensex and Nifty in the red after touching day's high

Closing Bell: Nifty edged higher at the end of markets close.

Andhra Bank rose 14 percent from its days low.
Coal India lost 0.89 percent while GAIL was at day's high at 2.14 percent.
Indigo rose 5.5 percent despite the airline being grounded by DGCA due to faulty engines. 
Kotak Mahindra Bank extended losses at the end of market close
Automobile manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Mahindra & Mahindra extended losses at 0.57 percent and 0.69 percent respectively.

Nifty IT: The sector witnesses a decline of 240 points at 12,683.80 points. 

The main driving factor for the decline of IT stocks were Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) which fell 0.43 percent and 5.35 percent respectively. 

Reliance Industries Limited and engineering and construction company, L&T slip to day's low. 

Reliance Industries is at 924.05 points, a fall of 0.67 percent.

L&T company is trading at 1,297.25 points, down 0.98 percent.

State Bank of India, sees a decline after making profits in the morning.

The largest national bank announced that it will wave off up to 75 percent of charges on the non-maintenance of average minimum balance in savings accounts. 

Sensex slides 170 points after touching day's high at 33,906 points.
