Domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex ended marginally lower while the NSE Nifty closed a tad higher on Thursday amid mixed cues from domestic and global markets. The market mood was subdued amid rising uncertainty over trade talks between the US and China. However, losses were capped as investors took positive cues from factory output numbers.

Nifty50: The broader 50-share NSE index ended in the green at 11,914.05, up by 7.85 points, or 0.07 percent. So far this year, the Nifty has added over 1,051.50 points, rising 9.68 percent.
Sensex: The 30-share benchmark Sensex settled 15.45 points lower, or 0.04 percent, at 39,741.36. So far this year, the BSE index has surged over 10.18 percent, adding 3673 points.
HDFC Bank: The private sector lenders' shares dipped 0.66 percent in trade today, quoting at Rs 2,443 on NSE.
HDFC: The HDFC group's NBFC stock settled at Rs 2,196, down by 0.64 percent.
Reliance Industries: The oil-telecom-retail conglomerates' shares ended 0.64 percent at close, settling at Rs 1,323.65 on NSE.
Hindustan Unilever: The FMCG major's stock closed at Rs 1,841.85 per share, marginally up 0.28 percent at close on NSE.
Tata Consultancy Services: The IT major settled 0.75 percent lower, closing at Rs 2,244 per share on NSE.
Nifty Bank: The banking gauge settled flat at 30,976, up just 10.40 points. So far this year, Nifty Bank has gained over 14 percent.
Nifty Auto: The index fell 0.37 percent to settle at 8,117. So far this year, it has corrected by 12.11 percent.
Nifty IT: The IT index slipped 0.67 percent to settle at 16316. So far this year, it has gained 13 percent.
Nifty FMCG: So far this year, Nifty FMCG has lost 0.53 percent. It settled flat, down 0.08 percent in the red at 30,354.55.
Nifty Metal: The metal index fell 0.21 percent to settle at 2956. So far this year, the index has lost 6.30 percent.
