The market continues to trade in the green in the noon, though rangebound, with the BSE Sensex trading at 35,030 points and the NSE Nifty trading at 10,655 points due to global cues.
The ICICI Bank, ahead of its earnings, is gaining more than a percent in trade though the CNBC-TV18 poll expects the company to post a net loss of Rs 13.3 crore this quarter. Infra stocks, Hindalco, Tata Steel and Vedanta, are among the top Nifty gainers of the hour.
The Indian stock market opened higher, backed by the recovery in global cues. Along with ICICI Bank, OBC, Vijaya Bank, among others will declare their quarterly results today.
The Asian markets continue to trade mixed with Hong Kong's Hang Seng gaining more than 40 basis points and Japan's Nikkei pulling the index by approximately the same gains as that of the Hang Seng.
