Market opens in the green; IT stocks gain for the second consecutive day

The market opened in the green amid rupee and crude recovery and weak global cues with the BSE Sensex opening at 34,744 points and the NSE Nifty at 10,528 points, holding on to its 10,500-mark.
The rupee opened higher at 68.28 against the US dollar while the crude prices eased to $79.25 per barrel earlier in the morning.
On the earnings front, Sun Pharma, IDBI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Cadila, Tech Mahindra, Page Ind, among others will declare their quarterly earnings.
