The US dollar ended sharply lower against the rupee at Rs 69.89 per dollar.
The US dollar ended sharply lower against the rupee at Rs 69.89 per dollar but the pound sterling finished higher at Rs 89.28 at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market.
