Rupee hits 73.57 against dollar; Indian bonds gain as Fed move raises RBI rate-cut hopes

The Indian rupee hit 73.57 in intraday trade against the US dollar on Tuesday, depreciating 31 paise.
The rupee weakened past 73.50 per dollar for the first time since November 1, 2018.
The benchmark 10-year Indian bond yield dropped 8 basis points (bps) to 6.26 percent.
