Rupee gains 13 paise to 66.77 against dollar

The rupee opened higher at 66.88, recovering from yesterday's 14-month lows 66.90 per dollar at the inter-bank foreign exchange here.
Meanwhile, the US dollar traded near a 3-1/2-month high against a basket of currencies in early Asian deals, bolstered by higher US Treasury yields, led by the 10-year benchmark breaching the 3 per cent threshold this week for the first time in four years.
The 30-share BSE Sensex trading higher by 20.54 points or 0.06% at 34,521.81
