Talking about doing business with India, Jay Khosla, Deputy Minister-Energy Sector of Canada, said that discussions have been taking place over the years with leading Indian players for investment in the country.

"We have been talking to Reliance over the years, we have been talking to Tata, Indian Oil Corporation and on the gas side with ONGC and Gail and it feels like we could do a lot more in that space," he said.

“I am proud to say that we supply approximately 20 percent of the crude oil consumed in the United States of America which provides energy security in that country but by the same token we take a discount of $10-15,” added Khosla.
