Petrol, diesel prices rise for the first time since April 24 ahead of Karnataka poll results

The petrol prices rose up for the first time after April 24, a day after the of the Karnataka elections' exit poll.
Prices surged to Rs 74.80 per litre in New Delhi, Rs 77.50 per litre in Kolkata, Rs 82.65 per litre in Mumbai and Rs 77.61 per litre in Chennai.
The prices remained constant at Rs 74.63 per litre in New Delhi, Rs 77.32 per litre in Kolkata, Rs 82.48 per litre in Mumbai and Rs 77.43 per litre in Chennai from April 24 until Sunday, i.e., May 13.
