Andrew Holland, chief executive officer at Avendus Capital Alternate Strategies believes that boosting demand is the way to go forward but is not sure the stimulus package announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will lead to a V-shaped recovery.“I think it is in the right direction. Now we need to see what they are going to do for the demand side of the equation. We are late in our package and our market has benefited from the global liquidity and the packages there. But now there is a question mark over whether these packages globally are enough to help companies through into Q3-Q4. So that is where we are at the moment. There is a doubt coming through on whether the demand side of the equation or the V-shaped recovery will come through now. I think markets could sell-off from here,” he said.
