Will maintain steady revenue growth at 12-15% in FY19, says BEL

State-owned Bharat Electronics (BEL) has teamed up with infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro (L&T) to manufacture defence products and systems for India as well as overseas markets. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, MV Gowtama, CMD of BEL spoke at length about the joint venture.

Gowtama said that both BEL and L&T have agreed to work together in exports. We have started working together for Myanmar and Vietnam projects and we have agreed to work together for Thailand projects.
“There are many other countries where we are looking forward to complement our strength,” he added.
Talking about MoU, Gowtama said, “Depending upon the strength in a particular country, one of us will frontend. As we get order we will have work shell for every project and we will collaborate in every project.”
On business front, he said we will maintain steady revenue growth at 12-15 percent in FY19.
