GVK group is looking to sell a minority stake in GVK Airport Holding, a subsidiary of the company which owns 50.5 percent stake in the Mumbai Internatinal Airport(MIAL).

The company is believed to have held discussions with Qatar Investment Authority(QIA), AMP Capital, Global Infrastructure Partners and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, ET reported on Thursday.
The discussions have been on for several months and a deal is expected to be concluded before the year-end, said a person aware of the developments, as mentioned in ET report.
Another person familiar with the matter said that Citi group has the mandate for managing the deal, according to the report.
Apart from GVK, MIAL’s other stakeholders are Airports Company South Africa with 10 percent stake, Bidvest with 13.5 percent stake and the state-owned Airports Authority of India which holds 26 percent stake.
