Mindtree co-founder Bagchi resigns from govt post to save firm from L&T's "hostile takeover"

Bagchi co-founded Mindtree in 1999 and returned to Odisha in 2016, after stepping down as the company's executive chairman.
“An imminent threat of hostile takeover of Mindtree has made me resign from the (Odisha) government, (so that I will be) able to go, (and) save the company,” he said in a tweet.
