With dulling demand and a break in a supply chain this year these empty showrooms are a sign of just how badly the pandemic has impacted sales. Retailers aren't expecting the Diwali or Pooja festivities this year to draw in any noticeable spike in sales. But right now, even a small recovery is good news for the silk hub.
