 Reliance Industries Ltd  has tweaked manufacturing at its Jamnagar oil refineries to produce over 700 tonnes a day of medical-grade oxygen to be supplied free of cost to states. The company's Jamnagar refineries have ramped up production of medical-grade oxygen from 100 to 700 tonne.

State-owned  Indian Oil Corporation  (IOC) and  Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd  (BPCL) have started diverting oxygen produced at their refineries to supplement the availability of medical oxygen. BPCL has started supply of 100 tonne of oxygen free of cost.
