Budget 2019: Centre may raise health budget, Ayushman Bharat to get additional funding

Finance minister Arun Jaitley introduced the scheme in the Union Budget 2018, targeting health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh per year to 50 crore beneficiaries
After the successful implementation of Ayushman Bharat, the government is likely to fuel in additional funds into primary healthcare and may announce 5,000 more health centres across the country
The flagship scheme of the NDA government may also see a rise in funding from Rs 2,000 crore in 2017-18
