ICICI Bank may appoint former bureaucrat as chairman, says report

Private banking major ICICI Bank is likely to appoint a former bureaucrat as the bank's chairman, the Business Standard reported.
The bank's board is likely to discuss the appointment of a new chairman on Friday from the shortlist of four former IAS officers who have worked with the finance ministry, the report said.
The board, according to the paper, has considered Shantikanta Das, former revenue secretary; DK Mittal, former financial services secretary and Tapan Ray, former corporate affairs secretary.
