HDFC on Monday posted a net profit of Rs 2,846 crore for Q4, beating the expectation of Rs 2,565.2 crore.
The revenue stood at Rs 9,238 crore as against Rs 8,453 crore posted in the previous year.
The financial firm announced a dividend of Rs 16.50 per share. The provisions stood at Rs 180 crore versus the Rs 95 crore on a quarter-on-quarter basis and Rs 148 crore on a year-on-year basis.
The board approved the increase in borrowing limit up to Rs 5 lakh crore and approved the raising up to Rs 85,000 crore via redeemable NCBs.
DM Sukthankar has resigned as the non-executive director, while Keki Mistry was reappointed the vice chairman and the chief executive for three years.
