Petrol, diesel prices rise across major cities on Thursday; check rates here

According to the Indian Oil Corp data, in New Delhi, petrol costs Rs 73.02 per litre and diesel Rs 66.54 per litre. In Kolkata and Chennai, petrol stood at Rs 75.04 per litre and Rs 75.79 per litre while diesel was at Rs 68.28 per litre and Rs 70.26 a litre, respectively.
The Trump administration Monday decided not to renew waiver that let countries like India buy Iranian oil without facing US sanctions.
Domestic fuel prices have largely been on an upward movement during the first three months of 2019. In Delhi, petrol prices have gained over Rs 4 per litre since January 1.
