Fuel prices fall in four metro cities; petrol now costs Rs 75.69/litre in Mumbai

According to the Indian Oil Corp data, petrol prices in Kolkata, New Delhi and Chennai were at Rs 72.16 per litre, Rs 70.07 per litre and Rs 72.70 per litre, respectively, while diesel stood at Rs 65.77 a litre in Kolkata, Rs 64.01 a litre in Delhi and Rs 67.58 a litre in Chennai.
The petrol prices were cut by 20 paise in the four cities while the diesel prices were cut between 18 and 19 paise. Over the weekened, the fuel prices witnessed an overall fall in prices by around 40 paise.
