Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi’s government makes no secret of its displeasure with the UK’s role as a haven for its absconding super-rich.
Liquor baron Mallya and cricket tycoon Lalit Modi, who are also fighting legal cases in India for allegedly masterminding financial scandals, have also left Indian for the UK.
