Tata Group has bounced back with a nine percent rise to touch Brand Value (BV) of $14.2 billion in 2018, Business Standard reported citing a survey by Brand Finance.

According to an annual study of top 100 companies by Brand Finance, the Tata Group's brand value rose from 5 percent levels while second-ranked Airtel saw its brand value fall by 14 percent, the report said.
Tata Group's improved performance can be credited to the leadership of chairman N Chandrasekharan, said David Haigh, CEO of Brand Finance, adding that the earlier diminishing brand value of the company should not be attributed to the boardroom drama.
HDFC Bank, which debuted on the list for the first time at eighth position, witnessed saw its BV rise 19 percent to $4.07 billion, the report said,
