Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor Shaktikanta Das will meet top global funds in Hong Kong and Singapore in February to sell India’s growth and shore up foreign fund inflows,reported The Economic Times.

Das, who was recently appointed the central bank’s governor position after former governor Urjit Patel stepped down, will meet executives from GIC, Temasek, Aberdeen Asset Management, Prudential Plc (UK), Eastspring Investments, Nomura, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, the report said citing people aware of the development.
The meeting is expected to take place in the second or third week of February with at least 40-50 participants taking part in the discussion, the report added.
The governor is expected to talk about India’s monetary policy stance and brief the investors on the nation’s macroeconomic conditions during the meeting, the report said.
