The UBS Investor Watch, which tracks the sentiments of more than 5,000 people with at least $1 million in assets, showed nine out of 10 were adjusting spending habits and making long-term investments to finance their longevity.
Tucker said prospective centenarians needed to plan for a 30 or 40-year retirement.
The prospect of living longer and passing a smaller legacy to successors worried 35% of respondents, UBS said, while 62% said they were planning to give away more of their wealth while alive.
