London a 'base' to launder corrupt assets of Moscow, says report

The assets stored and laundered in London, support Vladimir Putin's campaign to destabalize the international rules-based system, undermine UK's allies and erode the mutually reinforcing international networks that support UK's foreign policy.
The report stated that UK was guilty itself in turning a blind eye to London's role in hiding the facts related to Kremlin-connected corruption.
Tensions peaked in March when a former Russian spy, Sergei Skripal, and his daughter were poisoned in Salisbury, England, with a Russian-made Novichok nerve agent.
